My name is Jaron Thompson and I am 11 years old. I was born here, in Reno Nevada and currently in the Fifth Grade at Spanish Springs Elementary School. I got my first bike for Christmas in 2009 I had never ridden one but really wanted to learn. Since then I have been practicing and racing non-stop, consistently getting better as I learn. My bike is a KTM SX 65, and I love it. I also have a Honda CR-85 that I just started ridding. Most recently I raced in the Nuclear Fallout Out Series and finished first in both 65 Junior and 65 Open classes. I also finished fourth overall in the 85 beg class. I can’t wait for the 2012 racing series to start. I love Motocross racing because of the thrill, the individual challenge and ability to do your own thing. I have so much fun racing and can feel myself getting better each time. The same effort goes towards school and other sports as well. I am a straight A student and in the Gifted & Talented program. Principals list, Honor roll and a four time receiver of the Pop Warner Scholastics Achievement Award.
